There are moments when the ocean and the night sky feel like they are speaking the same language. Celestial Tides was born out of that conversation—where waves mirror the movement of stars, and the horizon becomes a bridge between heaven and earth.
This painting carries the quiet pull of the tides and the infinite stretch of the cosmos. It’s about surrendering to rhythms bigger than ourselves, the way the moon commands the sea, and how we, too, are guided by unseen forces.
When I painted Celestial Tides, I thought about healing as a tide—sometimes rushing in with intensity, sometimes retreating softly, but always returning, always moving. Just like the stars remain steady above us, the process of renewal is constant, even when we can’t see it.
The deep blues and flowing textures in this piece remind me of standing on the shoreline at night, where the salt air carries both mystery and calm. It is a place of reflection, of release, and of infinite possibility.
